Today, we woke up quiete early, due to joachim, who spent nearly the whole night in the bathroom. It was already clear that this would be a slow day, in bed with a fever, joachim wasn't up to much.
After swallowing some pills, we went to search for a pharmacy to resupply our "medicine cabinet". Thanks to Elien's spanish everything was settled quite quickly, allowing a speedy return to the bed.

In the late afternoon, when Joachim's fever had dropped, we went to visit the nearby monastery. Maybe a prayer of one of the nuns could bring some relief. Sadly no such luck, but instead we found a treasure. This quite impressive monastery took us by suprise, not only by its size, but also by its beauty. Elien already started considering life as a nun, but the thought of missing Joachim would have been impossible to bear (so she made him believe).
We ended the day in a cheap pizzeria to fill our empty stomach. We will need the energy for our trip to the alto plano tomorrow.
