Today was the big day, across the big puddle, also know as the Atlantic. First we went to Paris by TGV. We found the check-in gate easily. The flight was fine, we wached some movies, we ate the 'delicious' airplane food and we did a nap.
Twelve hours later we arrived in Lima and after picking up our luggage we went to the arrival hall. That area was very crowded. There were over 100 people with signs having names on! So we walked trough, trying to find our name. Luckily, Joachim spotted our sign in this endless sea of names and a nice lady and driver welcomed us an brought us to our hotel. The local time was 10 p.m. but in Belgium it was4 a.m. so we were glad we could get some decent sleep, in our small but cosy bed.
