So today we leave for La Paz, the capital of Bolivia and the highest capital in the world.
Our bus would leave at 13.30, so we took the opportunity to explore Copacabana one last time. Here we went to the Plaza de l'armas, where we witnessed a wedding ceremony in the local church. Next, we looked for an atm, as we were strapped for cash. Four banks later, we finally found a bank which would allow us to withdraw money. Now fully equipped to leave for La Paz, we loaded our bags on the bus and off we were.

When we saw La Paz first in the valley we were overwellemed by the size of this brick and mortar city. Finally at La Paz center, there seemed to be some kind of celebration, more research revealed that the city celebrates its aniversary of its independance of the Spanish. Now at the hostel, we decided to avoid the crowd, so we had dinner in our hostel, just to avoid being robbed. Tomorrow we will explore the city!
